Google – A CODA Story
Google provided features that helped make the 2021 Academy Awards more accessible to the blind, deaf, and hard-of-hearing communities. And on an evening where groundbreaking films in this space were being honored and celebrated, we launched this commercial featuring a CODA (child of deaf adult) and how he and his family used Google technology to stay connected during the lockdown of 2020. The featured family just happens to be Google’s very own, Tony Lee, an amazing designer, and all-around awesome human. Could not have happened without the vision of my creative partner Sha Eisen.
